I’ve been coming to the Saban theater since August 27, 2012. The reason I know the exact date is that I searched “Marianne Williamson” in my email and found an email I sent out to friends letting them know how much that night impacted me, how I’d be starting to study A Course in Miracles, and that they were invited to join. Here are some quotes from that email: “I’ve been trying to learn and practice spirituality for a while now and this led me to attend a seminar with Marianne Williamson yesterday...” “I have no idea what to expect but this feels right...” and “who knows, it may turn into something.” Turns out, it did turn into something. I know my life would look different had I not become a student and adopted principles from the Course and, with her as my teacher, I have experienced many more moments of inner peace and miracles. Well today, my friends, is a full circle moment. As some of you know, I’ve been trying to LEARN AND PRACTICE not compartmentalizing my spirituality, letting it influence and infiltrate every aspect of my life. So when this woman I’ve been hearing about since 2009 and learning from since 2012, decides to run for president, I am all ears. I attended a fundraising event yesterday and her message remains consistent for as long as I’ve followed her. Although it is seen as a long shot in traditional politics, THIS FEELS RIGHT. I hope those whose beliefs align with love, community, children, peace, self actualization, addressing human suffering and approaching issues by identify the cause (and more specifically establishing the Department of Peace, reparations, addressing childhood PTSD, approaching healthcare more holistically, etc) will join me in donating $1 to her campaign to get her into the next round of debates and bring these issues to the table. If God is infinite (no beginning, no end), then isn’t Infinity able to hold our fate and free will simultaneously?
We possess free will in the choices we make in each moment.
Each choice happens within our fate to return to the perfection of it all.
